In January 2018 my wife and I bought what can only be descibed as a shed. It was bought with a vision of turning it into a beautiful holiday home for all. In March we started the ball rolling by getting some plans drawn up which then started to present a list of work and challenges that were unforeseen.
So after a lot of sleepless nights and stress we commenced work in the Autumn of 2018 to install 21 concrete footings. This back breaking work was carried out over 2 months whilst waiting for the plans to be approved by the relevant authorities. Now the lodge will stand for years to come.
In March 2019 we were told we could proc eed even though there was some fine tuning to be done with the plans. So we set out to complete by Christmas 2019. All the work except for the roof, electrics and heating have been carried by myself Noel Lambelin as well as constructing all the furniture.
